2478153 Ontario Inc. o/a Girard Engineering are Engineers authorized by the Professional Engineers of Ontario to provide the following services to the public: Civil Engineering, Municipal Engineering, Land Development Engineering, Project Management, Structural Design for Agricultural, Residential, Industrial, Commercial, Institutional Buildings and other structures and Site Development and Servicing. Based on our client’s needs we assemble a team of professionals to tackle and complete a project as small as a single family home or as big as a large subdivision or a large industrial building.
What geographical region do you service?
During our over 30 years of service to the public we have undertaken projects within Southwestern Ontario in the following communities: Oxford County, Norfolk County, Haldimand County, the Regional Municipality of Waterloo, Perth County, Huron County, Middlesex County, London, St. Thomas, Aylmer, Cambridge, Hamilton, Brantford, Paris, Woodstock, Tavistock, Stratford, Port Dover, Port Rowan, Simcoe, Delhi, Courtland, Tillsonburg, Port Burwell, Norwich, Otterville, Springford, Springfield, Belmont, Dorchester, New Hamburg, Wellesley, Kitchener, Waterloo, Hamilton, Grimsby, Brampton, Thunder Bay, Napanee and most of the Townships within the above mentioned Counties. We do concentrate on the geographical area approximately one hours travel from our Otterville office but as you can see we have serviced clients farther away and we have personnel stationed in Woodstock, Norwich and Port Rowan for speedy response when needed.
Do you provide a guarantee of success?
Your guarantee of success is the fact that we are licensed by the Professional Engineers of Ontario and governed by the Ontario Professional Engineer’s Act. We are also registered with the Ontario Ministry of Housing as Qualified Designers under Section 2 of the Ontario Building Code and governed by the Ontario Building Code Act. Under both Acts we are required to meet very high standards of education, knowledge and experience and to provide substantial insurance coverage for every project.
Is there any fee for initial consultation?
We’d be pleased to meet with any prospective client to discuss your project. When you call a Project Manager will discuss the fee structure with you after listening to the details of your project. If a site visit or a first meeting is required our regular rates will apply and are payable prior to the visit by credit card. After the preliminary meeting we will provide you with our standard contract proposal document which spells out the scope of work, responsibilities of the engineer and client and the fees to complete your project.
Can you provide information on your fees?
Girard Engineering provides a team approach to every project. We work with our clients and other consultants to bring the required expertise to every project. Although we are a small firm we can assemble the team necessary to get the job done. Because of our size we have low overhead costs and with the team approach can provide optimum service at reasonable fee levels. We’d be pleased to meet with any prospective client to discuss your project (see above for more information). After the preliminary meeting we will provide you with our standard contract proposal document which includes the scope of work, responsibilities of the engineer and client and the fees required to complete your project.
